I lost my phone. I am getting a new one. To get the new one I need my App Store name and password. I don’t remember my password. I use my wife’s phone to try and reset but it wants a cell number for 2 step authentication. I enter my wife’s cell and it won’t accept it. How can I recover my App Store password?

If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
