I have received an email claiming to be from Apple. It says my Apple ID has been blocked for security reasons. To unblock it I need to confirm my identity which is a link that requires my Apple ID to be entered. If I don’t do this my email account will be blocked. I’m unsure if this may be a scam. There is a red circle with an A inside as the logo from the sender. Anyone else experienced this and do you know if it’s legitimate. Thanks 😃

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.

If you provided your Apple ID and password at the bogus site, change your password immediately.
