You should be able to use your iPod straight away, but what do you mean by "internet password"?

You can use an iPod without a password, so which app or service are you trying to sign into? If you're trying to sign into the iTunes Store, then that will be your Apple ID and the password for that account. If it's an app on the iPod, that you've used on your phone, then you need the account ID and password for that account.

If you're trying to get access to your home Wi-Fi (in order to get onto the internet), you need to identify the correct Wi-Fi router from the list that appears on your iPod and then use the password (or it may be named as passphrase) for your router. The original password for your router is usually shown on a label on the router, but make sure that it has not been changed by anyone in your household.

Most passwords are case sensitive, in other words, you need to type it in as either lower or upper case, as it was originally set up.

If it's none of the above, post back with more specific information about what you're trying to get access to.
