set up appt with Genius to transfer from old Iphone to New Iphone 11, Genius did ICloud back up, went home and almost 12 hours later, photos, email not been transferred to new IPhone? Why??? Is there another way to transfer photos, email?

What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support
iCloud backup doesn’t include information that is synced and stored in iCloud, like Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memos, Messages*, shared photos, iCloud Photos*, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive.
*-If you had turned on Messages in iCloud & iCloud Photos, your content is automatically stored in iCloud and is available on all devices that use the same Apple ID

If you have turned on iCloud Photos in your new iPhone then remain connected to the internet all photos in the iCloud will be synced to your device.
You may have used an incorrect iCloud Backup or Logged in with an incorrect Apple ID.
Bought new phone at Apple Store and Genius set up transfer through ICloud back up, why photos, emails has not transferred to new Iphone
