how to remove devices

I need to know how to remove devices to be able to redownload my music that was on my previous iphone.

iPhone music problems My iPhone music is just a complete mess. iPhone 12pro, 2020 Mac mini, both with all OS updates (also sync an iPad mini to the same Mac). I do not subscribe to Music and do not store my music in iCloud. I have so many duplicates and bad album artwork and even a fair number of songs that are good songs but play when other titles are selected...it's driving me nuts. Adding my devices back to music store I accidentally remove my devices from the icloud music and I not able to add them back on my Mac.

Unable to delete music from 6th Gen Ipod Touch Purchased my Touch in 2016 & filled it with music files. Signed up for Apple Music in April 2020 & uploaded all music on my Touch to iCloud Library. All music downloaded onto Touch from 2016 up to iCloud Library upload will not delete. None of the downloaded music prior to Apr 2020 iCloud Library upload shows up in Music Storage under Settings. How can I remove these files?
