Memories Photo: i can’t edit lenght of single video

Agreed. The memories section seems to have been downgraded significantly. It used to be really easy to customize and now 95% of those features are gone.

For example, you could make one “movie” out of live pictures and videos… doesn’t appear to do that Amy more. Cant edit length of showing each video or live picture etc.

seems to be a pretty major downgrade.

am I missing something?

Seems we just have to "play" it Apple's way ... when our old ways of working change:

Eg:

"Make and play a slideshow (including videos)

You can create a slideshow to view a collection of photos and videos that you choose from your library. Slideshows are automatically formatted and set to music.

1. Tap Library, then view photos by All Photos or Days.
2. Tap Select.
3. Tap each photo you want to include in the slideshow, then tap .
4. Tap Slideshow from the list of options.
5. To change the slideshow theme, music, and more, tap the screen while the slideshow plays, then tap Options.

Note: You can also make a slideshow from an album. Tap Albums, tap the album you want to create a slideshow from, then follow the steps above.

You might want to open the original of the video in the Photos Library. (it is the same video that is also viewable in memories, and perhaps in other categories) that you want to edit and trim the length of:

(NB: Sometimes it's a good idea to make a duplicate (copy) of a photo or video first, and edit that).
