New phone Please
I dropped my phone and it is now broken, is there a chance i could trade it in for a new one, possibly for a version higher then 10.

Apple's trade-in partner will deduct the value of the repair costs from a trade-in. Since an iPhone 8 Plus has trade-in value of up to $160 and any repairs cost more than that, it will have no trade-in value with Apple. If there's minor cosmetic damage (but not anything like a cracked glass case) then it might have a reduced value.
If it is broken you cannot trade it in.
