How to stop messages on one of my devices

On the Device in question, Open Settings ➔ Messages ➔ iMessages: Set this to OFF.
On your iPhone, open Settings ➔ Messages ➔ Text Message Forwarding: Locate the name of the above device and set that switch to OFF.
