no uppercase after period?
iphone 11 pro. i can still double space to get a perio but my phone will no longer capitalize the first letter of the next word.

Make sure that in Settings > General > Keyboard, Auto-Capitalization is turned on. If it's already on, turn if off, restart your iPhone and turn it back on.
