Cannot keep Today View on Home Screen

Hi I have the iPad Air 4 and was wondering if I would be able to add the Today View to my home screen.

I have already tried going to Home Screen & Dock in settings but I do not see the "more" option like other people do (is it because of this specific generation?)

I have also tried going to Today View when I swipe to the left and scrolled down to "edit" and when I click on that there is no "Keep on Home Screen" option (again wondering if I won't be able to do it because of this specific ipad)

It’s not because of your generation of iPad, in iPadOS 15, today view was removed, and you can now add widgets onto the homescreen. Hope this helps. (Although widely asked for, the implementation has been controversial due to the new spacing which means there are less apps, as the smallest widget size takes up 1 grid space, the same as a single app.)
