The right term is Apple ID password .

An iPhone user use mail services like gmail and creates an account on web gmail , and use the mail address to create an Apple ID How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support

And then signs in with account credentials in iPhone Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support

So it would be an Apple ID password using iCloud domain .
