It won’t let me back up my phone

I try to back up my phone for the iOS 15 so I can connect my Apple Watch but is not letting me

Are you trying to backup to iCloud or a computer? Without knowing anything else, perhaps these articles will help:

If you can't back up to iCloud - Apple Support

If you can't back up your iOS or iPadOS device to a computer or restore it from a backup - Apple Support
