You can use Mobile Data to create a backup on iCloud ONLY if you have:

  1. An iPhone 12 or an iPhone 13
  2. Have iOS 15 installed on an iPhone 12 or an iPhone 13
  3. Have 5G Service Activated
  4. Have Allow More Data set to ON for 5G service
