Screen dimming in bright sunlight

If you're seeing a change in brightness, your phone is likely too hot or too cold. These can cause the screen's brightness to change.

You would need to move to an area that's closer to room temperature to restore the brightness.

My screen dims all the time and I’m in the house all day, it will even dim at night…why? I’ve done everything I could think…very frustrating.

Mine is doing it as of 1/21 morning. Non stop. Auto dim etc is off. Inside. Outside. I wonder if it’s a bug???

It’s an Apple thing….

Latigo- what do you mean? This is something brand new the past two days. I’m not new to Apple, nor is my phone newly purchased. And the other 5 phones in my house aren’t doing it.

How is this in any way helpful ?

It really is a very annoying thing.
