Text syncing to MAC

How do I stop my iPhone Text from Syncing to my MAC. When I enable iCloud and log back in it brings all my last text from cell to MAC. I don't to keep text history

Turn off iCloud syncing on your Mac. Messages > Preferences > iMessage > Enable messages in iCloud

Deselect "enable messages."
