MacBook Air 13 not charging

My MacBook Air 13 is not charging, it only turns on with the charger plugged in but as soon as I take it off it turns off. It does not go up from 1%.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

macbook air not charging my macbook air shows that its charging when the power cord isnt connected and wont charged when plugged in. i no longer have the original charger but have had the new one for a bout a month and a half and this problem just started 2 days ago. suggestions?
