I just received my new iphone 12 and see the charging cable is different than for my iphone X. I just assumed one end would be a USB connector. What else is needed to charge this phone? Didn’t expect to have to buy new chargers too. Thx

If you have both the cable and the power adapter from the iPhone X you can use those. If you need to use the cable that came with the iPhone 12, you will need a USB-C power adapter. One option is Buy 20W USB-C Power Adapter - Apple
