Y can’t I update my iPhone to iOS 14.0

An iPhone 6 cannot update past iOS 12.5.5. You need a new phone.

The hardware you are using is incompatible with newer os. The system can’t handle the new updates. Try getting a new phone or use what you have with the old os.
