Widget screen overlays apps

Since I updated to iOS 15.2.1 on my iPhone 8, when I open an app, the widget screen overlays the left-hand portion of the screen. There is just enough overlay as to render use ability of any app totally useless. Help me please!

Hi Mbhent9999,

We understand there's a widget stuck on your screen. We're happy to offer some guidance.

This first thing you'll want to try, is simply force restarting the device which will most likely correct the problem. You can find those steps here: Force restart iPhone

If the widget is still stuck, you can also try resetting the Home screen in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Hope this helps. Cheers!
