difference in buying ipad under education versus regular

I am trying to figure out where i should purchase the ipad pro 11 inch. on one hand if i go through the education option i get a reduced price ($80 less) however i am unable to pay it monthly (is there any other benefit to this?) however if i buy it solely through apple regular then i am able to finance it and pay it monthly for 6 months. Just looking for some advice and maybe even some comparisons between the ipad pro 11 inch and the ipad air if i am looking to use it for school purposes.
