Start with a Restart.

Having just updated your iPad, restart your iPad to get things configured to how they should be. Go here: Restart your iPad - Apple Support

I am also having this issue after the update. I have done a few forced restarts on my iPad but it still will not take a charge. When plugged in, the lightning bolt comes up saying it is charging, but the battery percentage does not increase. The percentage does not seem to decrease either, so there is definitely power coming to the iPad, the battery just won't take it.

Just updated my iPad Air 3rd generation to IOS 15.2.1 and since then it will not charge. I have tried doing all of the resets on it.
