Apple Music on Apple CarPlay in Bmw not working

Anyone know why Apple Music is not working via the cars interface via touchscreen?

iPhone restarted, car restarted

when in Bmw apple CarPlay screen

Spotify app works via touchscreen

what doesn’t work is Apple Music, opens but doesn’t load any information in recently added etc

when using Apple Music on iPhone it works through car fine.

Now playing app on the car screen is also not working when playing music via Apple Music

Now playing works fine when using Spotify tho

Issue is isolated to Apple music only it seems

Same exact issue here, and I’ve done everything on the link provided. It’s wild that Spotify is working better, with Apple app/ Apple CarPlay you would think they would communicate optimally.

will there be any big fixes or updates soon?
