I just purchased a new Macbook Air with the M1 chip. Can I transfer my iDVD program from my old macbook to the new macbook?

Am I able to transfer a copy of iDVD from my old macbook to my new Macbook Air M1?

If you want to create video DVDs you'll need to go to the App Store and search for "video DVD". You'll find a number of potential candidates. Many have demo versions you can use before purchasing to see if it will work for you.

If you use both still photos and movie files in creating video DVDs the only app I've found so far that can use both is Wondershare DVD Creator. However, none of the current apps is as easy to use nor as powerful as iDVD was.
