There is a blue microphone in the upper left hand corner. What does it mean?
The blue mic icon means that you activated VoiceControl and/or VoiceOver.
Both options are in Settings>Accessibility. Turn them off.
When done, restart your iPhone

I've never heard of a blue speaker icon on an Apple device. Unless you mean in the browser.
