My normal membership just auto renewed I want to renew with my school membership. Can I cancel my current one

I wanted to pay for Apple Music under my student discount can you help cancel the one that just renewed

See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039 on how to cancel. Cancelation will take effect upon the expiry of the current period.
