Download apps and games on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

You may need to setup a payment method before using ANY of Apple’s online stores.

You do this by going into the Settings app, tap your large Apple ID block/panel at rhe very top.

In the right hand column, tap Payments & Shipping, you may need to use your Apple ID/FaceID or Touch ( finger ) ID and add all of your necessary payment method info.
