External Display Not Detected on Macbook Air

Hello,

Macbook air is not detecting my external monitor via HDMI adapter ( works on my 2018 mbp pro).

Macos version: 12.2

Monitor : Samsung 1080p SF355

I've tried everything I found online and nothing worked. I have two adapters now. :(

This is the adapter I am using:

Could it be that my monitor is not supported on M1?

Thank you in advance?

Hello poggybitz,

It looks like you are having issues with the external display connected to your MacBook Air. We will be happy to help.

Does the monitor have software? Have you gone to the manufacturer website to see if there are drivers, updates, or software which may be needed?

Have you tried the steps in this article? If your external display isn't detected or appears blurry on your Mac

Please have a look and let us know if this helps.

Cheers!
