I do not have a subscription to iCloud+, don’t feel the need and am not interested in paying a monthly fee.

so why did this iOS 15 upgrade cripple my iPad with Private relay that I can’t turn off? It’s like extortion.

My next tablet will be android.

Yes iCloud Private Relay is a part of an iCloud+ subscription.

Since my iPad was updated with iOS 15, the only option available with iCloud Private relay is Upgrade to iCloud+, with a monthly subscription, which I do not want or need. I cannot turn it off. Since that “update” Safari fails to load websites, and the recommended “fix” of resetting network connections, rebooting and re-entering my network password only seems to help temporarily. This updated iOS security measure is not working for me and Apple should give users the choice to opt out.
