How to recover inbox from Time Machine

For reasons unknown, One of my four email accounts , the one at Comcast, deleted all of my "Inbox "and "Deleted items". Since this event these boxes appear to be operating normally at the present time. Can I recover the lost email files from my time machine which is save on a separate hard drive? If So How. The process I have previously used to recover other data from Time Machine does not find any files?

All your mailboxes are in your Library/Mail/V9 directory. Look down through the folders with the cryptic names until you find the one you want. Then copy that folder to your desktop then once back in mail import. To get to the correct library go to Finder then Go then option key and select Library. You can then go back in TM to before they were deleted.
