How to change the name of a device listed in iCloud

Is it possible to change the name of a device that appears on iCloud? My new iPad is showing up as "iPhone" and I already have an iPhone connected so it's confusing. In the description it says iPad, but the name is still iPhone. Help please.

iPad, iPadOS 15

Yes. You can change the name in Settings > General > About > Name

Touch on Name and from the next screen you can type anything you want.

Just to be complete you can also do the same on a Mac.

System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name.

It's this name, and the About name in an iPhone, which appears in the list of devices in Find My.
