running apple music on an imac with monterey 12.2. When adding songs to a new playlist in songs view the songs appear and then within 5-30 seconds they all disappear and must be added to the playlist a second time. NO, the songs are not duplicated - I do not get two copies of the songs. I think something is not right.
Any suggestions??????

Reboot your computer and try again. There seem to be an ongoing and slightly erratic issue for some users of iCloud Music Library (Apple Music or iTunes Match) where updates to the cloud library aren't' sent through and the library reverts to the cloud state.

additionally, after the songs disappear from the playlist the are in the music library music folder on my hard drive. when the songs are added to the playlist a second time (and remain there) they are not duplicated in either location.
I don't use iCloud music library. all my music is stored locally.
I have the same issue. It's persisted.
this method of operation can't possibly be normal. I wish someone would post a solution.
