Safari immediately closing when opening a link

I just purchased a new iMac Jan 2022. Safari has been working fine until today. Every link I attempt to open flashes for a quick second and then immediately closes. I do not have any available software updates. My OS is Monterey version 12.1. Safari is version 15.2. I can open the links on Chrome. This is just weird. I like to use Safari. Since I am using an apple computer, it seems it should work and that I don't need to rely on a google browser. Any insight? Thank you.

Actually, maybe it is just a Yahoo issue. If I open up Bing on Safari, I can search fine. I think I am ok.
