I just purchased a new 24" imac. it only has two thunderbolt 4 ports and I want to know how i can plug in my external hard drive usb3.1 cable to it. What cable should i get? would a usb-c to usb-3 hub work with the thunderbolt 4 port?
didn't think about plugging in old devices to a new mac but need to.
You can also use USB cables which have each end provided with the correct connecter. They can be found (with excellent illustrations) on Apple's sales web pages.
