Apple watch S3

Hi , i have this apple watch s3 and i want to reset it to pair it with new phone. My old device is broken down and I am unable to use it to erase the all the content. I have used the manual method to erase my watch but all in vain. It has been now 6 months that I am unable to use it. It get to the point where it shows the loading circle and then after few minutes it get backs to screen showing “ too many attempts of password”.

kindly help me as I am unable to use it and as well as cant sell it to new user.

Erasing a watch doesn't remove the activation lock.

To unpair and erase watch and remove Activation Lock

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.
