image shifts when titles come in

I have still images in my timeline with titles that dissolve in and out. When the title comes in the image shifts a few pixels. Not a lot, but enough to be distracting. How I can fix this?

We need more information.

What titles exactly?

Does this happen with, for example, Basic Title, or just with one specific title?

Does this happen if you start a new project, add stills and a title?

Are you applying any Transform to the title? Some titles have a "background layer" which affects anything that under the title in the timeline.

And, of course, do tell us what version of FCP and macOS.
