Ethernet port of usb c hub (Baseus 6 in 1) does not work.

My computer is the Macbook Pro 16" (2021) with MacOs Monterey v12.2

The usb-c hub is the Baseus 6 in 1, just bought (https://www.amazon.it/Baseus-Adattatore-Multiporta-Compatibile-Dispositivi/dp/B08X4FGC26?th=1) and in the System Report it's listed as:

Product ID: 0x8153

Vendor ID: 0x0bda (Realtek Semiconductor Corp.)

 Version: 30.00


All the other ports are working, but the ethernet port may have some issue.

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

Be sure that you have used the gear icon under the list of interfaces to "set service order' to put Ethernet TOPMOST, else it will not be used to connect to the Internet.


Network Utility App (available in the /Applications/Utilities folder) can report the actual speed attained by the interface, and tell you if errors are accumulating.
