Water spill on MacBook Pro keyboard

I spilled a drink on my MacBook Pro keyboard. After going through all the protocols, when at rest, the keyboard has a static sound and the battery icon isn’t displayed on the screen. How do I remedy the problem if there is one?

Your computer needs to be inspected by an authorized service center. Liquid damage is often extensive and ongoing due to corrosion.
