incoming text makes no sound , how to fix?

I have an iPhone 13 and suddenly the sounds on alarm goes down, no incoming text or email sounds. I have tried all the suggestions but have not had a change in results. Does anyone else have possible solutions? I do not want to feel foolish if take into apple store and easy answer
