Apple Mail Can't Connect to Server (OS Big Sur 11.1) 4 different email accounts that all work on iPhone and iPad. Network connection works for browser and non-apple apps. Problem just started.

Thank you. I did try to upgrade but "an Internet Connection is required" error. So the problem is beyond Apple Mail with Connection to the Internet. The actual Internet connection works for browsing and with the Gmail app. Also, I can ping hosts successfully from Terminal. Email accounts work fine on my iPhone and iPad. My last successful connection was on Feb 23rd as following log shows:

"INITIATING CONNECTION Feb 23 20:37:40.989 host:smtp.gmail.com -- port:587 -- socket:0x0 -- thread:0x600002e1a380

CONNECTED Feb 23 20:37:41.008 [kCFStreamSocketSecurityLevelNone] -- host:smtp.gmail.com -- port:587 -- socket:0x600002645500 -- thread:0x600002e1a380"

Ideas??

If as you mention above " I did try to upgrade but "an Internet Connection is required" error. " then the Apple Mail Application will not work at all until that issue is resolved
