How old is your series 3 watch? Series 3 was released in 2017, so if you've owned yours for 5 years now, one could imagine battery health has degraded sufficiently enough to warrant a battery replacement.
Settings > Battery > Battery Health - if 80% or less, it's time for a battery service.
