I have a SanDisk Extreme 90MB/s 32GB SDHC V30 card I use in my Canon camera. It works fine in my old 2013 MacBook Pro. I updated that to a new M1Pro MacBook Pro last month. It completely ignores the card. No messages. What gives?

Older cards, UHS-1 cards seems to be some issues.
You can try a different card and compare your results.
