Macbook Pro 15" Mid 2012 - 16GB - Intel HD graphics 4000 1536 MB - OS used EL Captain .
Issue is few software does not get installed. ( error required new version of os )
few we sites don't work, The connection is not private error. same page logs on my Apple phone.
what should i do, if need a os change which is the perfect one for the above config system.

Your MacBook Pro Mid 2012 15" is listed as obsolete by Apple. Per Mactracker, 10.15.7 Catalina is the latest OS you can use.
If you need an OS later than 10.15.7, you'll need a new, or newer, iMac, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air.
