Apple Watch and Health App

Just got the Apple Watch SE. I thought that the Health App was on the watch prior to an update that I did this morning, but I can't see it any longer. I see mixed information online indicating that it is and it is not an actual app on the watch. The information seems to be syncing to my phone fine, but can someone confirm whether or not the Apple Watch should have the actual Health app by default or that it can be added because I have not even been able to add it as an app on the phone. Thanks!

AFAIK, the Heralth app is only available on your iPhone or iPod:

Use the Health app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

The watch syncs its data to it.

You should not be able to delete the Health app.

Delete built-in Apple apps from the Home Screen on your iOS 14 or later or iPadOS device or Apple Watch - Apple Support

It may be hidden in a folder or other screen on your iPhone. Search for it:

Use Search on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:
