Texts not syncing
Hello,
Texts between my iPhone and my MacBook dont always sync. Any suggestions? Also, when you delete a text from one device it NEVER deletes from the other device. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Thanks so much Claire504...
That worked... however when I delete texts messages from my iPhone, they are not being deleted from my MacBook Air. Is there a way to set that so I dont have to manually delete them from my MacBook Air myself?

Hi KallylynnFLA2005,
You'll first want to make sure that your Continuity settings are set properly on both of your devices. The steps below can help, which are from this article: How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac - Apple Support
"Set up text message forwarding
As long as your iPhone is turned on and connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network, new SMS/MMS texts can be sent and received on the devices that you added.
* Don't see the Text Message Forwarding setting on your iPhone? Go to Settings > Messages, turn off iMessage, turn it back on, tap Send & Receive, tap Use Your Apple ID for iMessage, then sign in with the same Apple ID used on your other devices."
If the settings look correct you'll then want to try restarting both of your devices. It can seem like a simple step, but it can sometimes help resolve unexpected issues.
If the issue continues, please let us know if this is happening with iMessages (blue bubbles), SMS/MSS (green bubbles), or both, as that can help us determine possible next steps.
Take care.
KallylynnFLA2005,
Thanks for getting back to us.
It sounds like you only need to to switch on Messages in iCloud. This article will explain more about the feature: Use Messages in iCloud.
Here's how to switch it on:
"On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
On your Mac
Have a fantastic day!
That did it - thank you both so much!
