Old Mac OS Restore Software

Hello,


Having owning various old Macs ranging from 2001-2006. I would like to know where I could buy (for cheap) the original restore software for these computers, so I can run older software, I have an iBook G3 Snow white from late 2002, an iBook G4 from 2004, and iMac Intel Core 2 Duo from 2006.

Many years ago, there were reports about people being able to order system software that way, but since your computers are old now, I would not expect it to be possible today. However, it may be worth a try anyway.

Hi,


One way would be to look for system software discs via an online auction site (such as eBay, or Tradera). However, this is not easy, since it would have to be the exact model-specific version used for each machine.


Alternatively, it may be possible to use a subsequent retail version (system discs for all compatible models).
