Finding Lost AirPods:

The best that can be done is where they were last seen. Once the battery goes dead -all is fine. Note that AirPods do not have their own IP Address. So, the only place that is shows, is the last place it was connected to a devices what was connected to the Internet. Go Here: Find your lost AirPods - Apple Support

As you can see from the article linked above, this is only available for third generation AirPods, AirPods Pro or AirPods Max.
