Missing comma and period

Have the ipad air 4th generation and no access to the. Or, on my keyboard regardless of whether I am in portrait or landscape mode; ANNOYING please advise?

If it doesn’t appear on your keyboard tru pressing the button on the down left that says *.?123* and you may find it there. If you need more help visit Official Apple Support
