When will apple allow universal control to work between 2 iPads without using a mac?

Dear Apple,

I have the same question.

Currently, I am using one Macbook Pro and 2 iPads universal control setting. It's great!

However, I hope this feature could be upgraded to allow 2 or 3 iPads setting without a Mac in the near future.
