iPad other storage is taking up 20GB out of 32 GB

iPad 7th gen, iOS 15.3. 32GB. Keep getting STORAGE IS FULL alert, and can hardly use this iPad.

i have long since offloaded all apps, have less than 6GB of storage used by photos and everything else. No music. No videos. No matter what I do, other storage expands to take up the space.

apple support says they are aware of this problem, fix may come in update…but won’t say when.

anyone have success freeing up this “other” storage space?

*please don’t tell me to: offload to iCloud, clear old messages, delete Safari cache, update to most current iOS, I’ve done it. None of that works.

Have you restarted the iPad since the deletions? You might also try a Forced Restart, no guarantee, but worth a try....
