Laggy iPad after IOS 12.3 upgrade

Hello! I have a iPad mini 2 here, i have been using it for a very long time. I recently upgraded it to IOS 12.3, and it has been extremely laggy especially in opening apps, web browsing, and playing some games. Can someone please help me with this problem?

Thankyou!

Be advised that your iPad storage is close the “higher end ” minimum free, internal data storsge that needs to be maintained for your iPad to work at a nominal, acceptable level of device performance.

A 32 GBs storage iPad starts out with approx 30 GBs.,after initial internal flash drive formatting.

Minus approx. 6.5 GBs for iOS/iPadOS leaves between 23-24 GBs.

Minus 3-6GBs, for iOS/iPadOS system operational reserve, that MUST BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES, to ensure/insure normal, expected operation of iOS/iPad OS, leaves approx. between 18-20 GBs of actual, usable data storage space.

Your iPad has approx. another 8-10 GBs left of usable internal dats storage space.

You should never, EVER completely fill up ANY computer and computing device with dats.

Good Luck to You!

Hi maxyLYJ,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you've noticed a change in performance since updating your iPad.

There are several factors that can impact your iPad's performance such as your network conditions, unresponsive apps, storage space and battery health.

Check out this article which outlines how to isolate and troubleshoot this behavior: About iOS or iPadOS performance on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Get more help•A touch screen that responds to taps incorrectly can make your device seem slow. If you think that your touch screen isn't responding correctly, try restarting your iPhoneiPad, or iPod touch. If that doesn't work, and the issue occurs in the same area of the screen in multiple apps, you might need to contact Apple Support.•If you tried these tips and your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is still slow or continues to freeze, contact Apple Support.

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
